Job Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of new product development projects for Scooter tires, ensuring alignment with CEAT's strategic objectives and upholding our commitment to quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
- Champion innovation by conducting thorough benchmarking studies of competitor products and emerging technologies, contributing to the development of CEATs future product roadmap.
- Manage all stages of the product development lifecycle, from initial concept and design to testing, validation, and launch, adhering to CEATs robust Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) processes.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, manufacturing, and marketing, to ensure seamless product development and launch execution.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the product development process, identifying opportunities to reduce development timelines and enhance overall efficiency.
- Contribute to CEATs culture of knowledge sharing by actively participating in training programs and sharing your expertise with colleagues.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Proven experience in product development within the tire industry, with a strong understanding of scooter tire technology and market trends.
- A track record of successfully managing complex product development projects from inception to launch.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data, conduct benchmarking studies, and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
- A passion for innovation and a desire to contribute to the development of industry-leading tire technology.
