Lead Local Trial Manager

Johnson & Johnson seeks a Lead Local Trial Manager for its Mumbai office to oversee clinical trial operations across one or more countries. This senior role requires managing trial protocols from initiation through closeout, leading local teams, ensuring regulatory compliance, and coordinating with global study teams on complex Phase 1-3 studies.
Responsibilities
- Lead country feasibility and site selection activities; recommend qualified sites for trial participation
- Oversee local trial team execution to ensure protocol compliance, data quality, and regulatory adherence
- Develop and implement local trial-specific procedures, recruitment plans, and risk management strategies
- Monitor trial progress, implement corrective actions, and communicate status to global study teams
- Mentor Associate Local Trial Managers and Site Managers; conduct training on study changes and processes
Requirements
- 14+ years overall clinical trial experience with 4+ years trial management
- 6+ years clinical monitoring experience
- Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and regulatory requirements
- Experience with clinical trial protocol implementation and site management
- Proficiency in trial management systems and data analysis tools
- Strong project management and budget forecasting capabilities
