Your role and responsibilities

This role offers unique opportunity for individuals aiming to build a strong foundation in Human Resources within a global, technology‑driven organisation. The selected intern will work directly with the People & Culture Business Partner Lead for India, Middle East & Africa, gaining hands‑on exposure to the full employee lifecycle and participating in strategic HR transformation initiatives. Unlike typical HR internships, this role focuses on real business challenges and high‑value outcomes. Work completed during the internship will be reviewed, validated, and, where relevant, institutionalised within ABB Robotics' People & Culture framework.

This role is contributing to the ABB Robotics in Bangalore, India.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Contribute to end-to-end employee lifecycle activities and gain exposure to the operational and strategic elements of People & Culture.
• Support the review, assessment, and redesign of People & Culture policies, processes, and frameworks in alignment with organisational transformation.
• Conduct research, benchmarking, and data analysis to support HR decision‑making and process improvements.
• Contribute to initiatives related to employee experience, organisational effectiveness, and culture development.

Qualifications for the role

• MBA/PGDM in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related discipline from a reputed institution.
• Strong academic credentials with consistent performance throughout education and career.
• Demonstrated strategic thinking, business acumen, and problem-solving capability.
• Ability to influence senior leaders and manage complex stakeholder environments.
• Experience driving large-scale talent, HR, or organizational initiatives.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with strong executive presence.
• Proven ability to leverage data, analytics, and market insights for decision-making.
• Experience operating in matrixed, multinational, and fast-paced business environments.
• Strong change management, consulting, and project management capabilities.
• Track record of delivering measurable business outcomes through people and organizational strategies.
