Job Brief

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Executive Audit & Accounts to manage accounting operations, cost centre accounting, statutory audits, and indirect taxation. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, GST compliance, reconciliations, and internal controls while ensuring accuracy and compliance with statutory and organizational requirements.

Education & Experience

• CA Final Dropout with 23 years of relevant corporate experience, or
• CA Inter with 45 years of relevant corporate experience
• Experience in real estate, construction, manufacturing, or project-based organizations will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including journal entries, ledger scrutiny, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing.
• Ensure accurate Cost Centre-wise Accounting and expense allocation across business units.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and MIS.
• Handle Statutory Audits, Internal Audits, and coordinate with auditors for timely completion of audit requirements.
• Manage Indirect Taxation (GST), including return filing, reconciliations, input tax credit, and statutory compliance.
• Perform bank, vendor, customer, and inter-company reconciliations.
• Maintain fixed asset registers, provisions, accruals, and depreciation schedules.
• Support budgeting, financial analysis, and management reporting.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory regulations, and internal financial controls.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, auditors, consultants, and finance teams for accounting and compliance-related activities.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of Cost Centre Accounting, financial reporting, and audit processes.
• Hands-on experience in Statutory Audits, Internal Audits, and Indirect Taxation (GST).
• Good knowledge of accounting principles, reconciliations, and statutory compliances.
• Proficiency in Tally ERP/Tally Prime, Advanced MS Excel (VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP), and other accounting software.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work independently while coordinating with cross-functional team
