EPAM - ServiceNow Developer - ITSM Module

Job Summary : We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Developer with 57 years of hands-on experience in the ServiceNow platform, custom development, scripting, and enterprise integrations.The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in one or more ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, SecOps, GRC, CSM, HRSD, ITAM, Service Portal, ATF, UI Builder, or Now Assist.The candidate will be responsible for developing scalable ServiceNow solutions, configuring applications, building custom functionality, implementing integrations, and supporting end-to-end development activities while following ServiceNow best practices.Key Responsibilities : - Develop, configure, customize, and maintain ServiceNow applications and modules based on business requirements.- Work on one or more ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, SecOps, GRC, CSM, HRSD, ITAM, Service Portal, ATF, UI Builder, or Now Assist.- Develop custom business logic using JavaScript, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, and Data Policies.- Design and implement inbound and outbound integrations using REST APIs, JSON, and web services.- Configure workflows, Flow Designer, approvals, notifications, forms, and service processes.- Develop and customize ServiceNow applications to meet complex business requirements beyond out-of-the-box capabilities.- Work with ServiceNow data models, tables, relationships, ACLs, roles, and security configurations.- Participate in requirement gathering, technical analysis, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.- Troubleshoot application, integration, scripting, and configuration issues and perform root-cause analysis.- Develop reusable and scalable solutions while minimizing unnecessary customizations.- Perform unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, and defect resolution.- Support ServiceNow upgrades, enhancements, patches, releases, and deployment activities.- Collaborate with functional consultants, business stakeholders, administrators, and other technical teams.- Prepare technical documentation, configuration documents, integration specifications, and deployment documentation.- Follow ServiceNow development standards, security practices, coding guidelines, and platform best practices.Technical Skills : - 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in ServiceNow development.- Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting.- Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture and data model.- Experience with REST APIs, JSON, inbound integrations, and outbound integrations.- Hands-on experience with Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, ACLs, and Scheduled Jobs.- Experience with Flow Designer, Workflow, Notifications, Approvals, and ServiceNow automation.- Experience in at least one or more ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, SecOps, GRC, CSM, HRSD, ITAM, Service Portal, ATF, UI Builder, or Now Assist.- Understanding of ServiceNow update sets, application scopes, deployment processes, and instance management.- Knowledge of ServiceNow security and access controls.- Experience with ServiceNow testing and debugging tools.- Good understanding of integration architecture and data mapping.Preferred Candidate Profile : - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.- Ability to independently understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.- Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.- Ability to work effectively in Agile/Scrum environments.- Strong ownership of development deliverables and production issues.- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional technical and business teams.Experience : - 5 to 7 years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.- Experience in ServiceNow customization, configuration, scripting, and integrations.- Strong experience with JavaScript and REST-based integrations.- Experience working on enterprise ServiceNow implementations or enhancement projects.
