Salary: 35,000 40,000 per month

Travel: Required Bangalore and outstation school visitsJob SummaryWe are looking for a Senior Accountant with strong accounting knowledge and hands-on experience in managing school/education-sector accounts.The ideal candidate should either have completed 3 years of CA Articleship or have relevant experience as a Senior Accountant handling the accounts and financial activities of multiple schools (preferably 45 schools).The candidate will be based at Horamavu, Bengaluru and will be responsible for supporting and reviewing accounting and financial activities across multiple schools.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and review accounting and financial activities across multiple school branches.Handle/oversee school-wise accounts, fee collections, expenses, payments, bank reconciliations, ledgers and other accounting transactions.Review financial records and ensure accuracy and completeness of branch accounts.Conduct financial reviews and audits of schools and identify discrepancies or areas requiring correction.Visit schools in Bangalore and outside Bangalore for financial reviews, accounting support, training and other assigned activities.Coordinate with School Admin, HR and Accounts teams for smooth financial operations.Support and train school-level staff on accounting processes, documentation and financial procedures.Prepare and review MIS, branch-wise financial reports, reconciliations and other management reports.Coordinate with auditors and provide necessary financial records and supporting documents.Ensure proper compliance with accounting processes, statutory requirements and internal financial controls.Monitor outstanding items and ensure timely closure of accounting-related issues.Assist the management/central accounts team with financial analysis and other assigned responsibilities.Candidate ProfileCandidates should meet either of the following criteria:Option 1 CA ArticleshipShould have completed 3 years of CA Articleship.Strong practical exposure to accounting, audit and financial processes.OROption 2 School Accounts ExperienceRelevant experience in school/education-sector accounts.Should have handled accounts and financial activities of 45 schools as a Senior Accountant or in a similar role.Strong understanding of branch-wise accounting and financial review processes.Mandatory RequirementsB.Com / M.Com or relevant accounting qualification.Strong knowledge of accounting and financial processes.Good working knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software/Tally.Experience in handling multiple branches/schools will be strongly preferred.Good understanding of audit, reconciliation and financial controls.Willingness to travel to schools within Bangalore and outside Bangalore as required.Strong communication and coordination skills.Language RequirementThe candidate should be able to communicate effectively in:English MandatoryKannada MandatoryTelugu MandatoryCompensation35,000 40,000 per month, depending on experience, qualifications and suitability for the role.
