Overview
Quality Engineers are responsible for ensuring the delivery of high‑quality, secure, and compliant software by embedding quality practices throughout the SDLC. This role partners closely with Software Engineers, Product Managers, and Risk partners to prevent defects, drive automation, and ensure solutions meet functional, non‑functional, and regulatory requirements. Quality Engineers play a critical role in improving time‑to‑market while maintaining engineering excellence and audit readiness.

Your future duties and responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities

. Design, develop, and execute test strategies covering functional, regression, integration, and non‑functional testing
. Build and maintain automated test frameworks integrated into CI/CD pipelines
. Validate test coverage, test evidence, and documentation to support audit and compliance requirements
. Collaborate with engineering and product teams to define acceptance criteria and quality gates
. Proactively identify quality risks, gaps, and systemic issues early in the development lifecycle
. Support change management processes by reviewing test artifacts and validation evidence
. Analyze test results and quality metrics to provide actionable insights to stakeholders
. Continuously improve QE processes, tools, and standards to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency
. Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and release readiness activities

Minimum Qualifications

. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
. Strong understanding of software testing fundamentals and SDLC methodologies
. Experience working in Agile environments
. Ability to analyze requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios
. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
. 6+ years in IT field

Required Experience

. Hands‑on experience with Java‑based test automation
. Experience using Cucumber (BDD) for defining and executing automated test scenarios
. Experience with Karate for API and service‑level testing
. Strong understanding of microservices architectures and testing strategies for distributed systems
. Proficiency in API testing using tools such as Postman and automated frameworks
. Experience with UI testing using tools such as Selenium
. Ability to design, execute, and maintain automated tests across API and UI layers
. Experience validating test results, test evidence, and test coverage in support of compliance and governance needs
. Familiarity with integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Preferred Qualifications

. Experience in Identity and Access Management, and CyberSecurity
. Knowledge and Experience in Playwright and Ansible is a plus
. Knowledge or Training on OpenShift Container Platform or OCP is a plus
. Strong automation mindset with experience in test automation frameworks
. Understanding of compliance‑driven or regulated environments
. Experience partnering with Risk, Audit, or Enterprise Testing Groups
. Ability to influence quality practices without formal authority
. Demonstrated continuous improvement and process optimization mindset
