CTR – Regional Technical Centre of Systra India takes care of the international production of major projects at Systra Group level. CTR team has expertise in design of High-Speed Rail, Metro, Conventional Rail, Bridges, Highways, Depots, Stations and Transport Planning. Starting from Feasibility/Concept stage to Detailed Design to IFC/Shop drawings, the disciplines involved have experience of designing in accordance with various international codes and delivered projects across the world.

CTR team has successfully delivered some major projects in UK, UAE, Tanzania, KSA, Australia, Canada and Denmark. One of the major achievements of India CTR team has been the design of HS2 project in UK. We played an instrumental role in delivering 3 major Sublots on HS2 with our teams proactively engaging with Front Office in UK and delivering beyond client expectations. This resulted in India team receiving many accolades from the contractor BBV and client HS2. 

Missions/Main Duties

• Develop and maintain accurate 3D structural models using OpenBuildings Designer (OBD) .
  Prepare detailed structural drawings, sections, elevations, and documentation in accordance with project standards.
• Create and manage BIM models for concrete and steel structures.
• Coordinate with structural engineers and other disciplines to ensure clash-free and accurate models.
• Update models based on design changes and project requirements.
• Support BIM coordination and clash detection activities during project execution.
• Ensure compliance with project standards, BIM requirements, and quality procedures.
• Extract quantities, schedules, and drawing documentation from OBD models.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver project requirements within timelines.

Profile/Skills

• Diploma / B.E. in Civil Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of structural modelling and BIM workflows.
• Proficiency in  OpenBuildings Designer (OBD) .
• Good understanding of structural drawings, detailing standards, and construction documentation.
  Experience in preparing structural models and shop drawings.
• Knowledge of BIM coordination and clash detection processes will be an added advantage.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
