Global Delivery Services refers to EY's worldwide network of service delivery centers. The GDS team plays an important role in EY’s strategy by ensuring effective support to EY’s growth agenda.

Our journey started in 2002 with approximately 200 people. Today we stand at 80,000+ professionals in ten locations around the world. We operate in Argentina, China, Hungary, India, Philippines, Poland, Sri Lanka, Mexico, Spain and the United Kingdom.

Client service is focused on providing Consulting, Assurance, Tax, Strategy & Transactions, and Knowledge support to our clients around the world. The teams enable account teams worldwide to provide seamless, high-quality, value-added support, helping deliver exceptional client service.

Enablement Services provides cost-effective, high-skilled, and innovative services to support EY’s global and local enablement teams. Markets, BMC, AWS, Finance and Accounting, Risk Management, Procurement, People Shared Services, IT Service Delivery and IT Global Infrastructure services, are among the services offered by Enablement Services.

Our innovation specialists serve the GDS Client Service and Enablement Services teams, along with Service Lines, Core Business Services and Sectors. The team brings the desired environment, technologies and skilled teams together for facilitation, rapid prototyping and innovative thinking. The competencies offered include analytics, digital, user experience, mobile technology, infrastructure, Microsoft technologies and open innovation.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced technology leader to drive the design, delivery, and scaling of innovative digital, cloud, and AI-powered solutions across enterprise platforms. This role combines technology leadership, innovation management, solution architecture, and team development.

The ideal candidate will possess broad expertise across modern open-source technologies, cloud services, enterprise platforms, and emerging AI capabilities. They will lead multidisciplinary engineering teams, help shape technology strategy, identify new opportunities for innovation, and ensure the successful execution of complex initiatives from concept through deployment.

This position is suited for a highly adaptable individual who thrives in ambiguity, can quickly evaluate emerging technologies, and effectively translate business opportunities into scalable technology solutions.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, and delivery of enterprise solutions across open-source, cloud, and AI technology stacks.
• Manage and grow high-performing engineering teams focused on innovation, digital transformation, and emerging technology initiatives.
• Identify, evaluate, and incubate new technology opportunities that can create measurable business value.
• Drive solution architecture decisions across application, integration, data, cloud, and AI domains.
• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to define roadmaps, priorities, and delivery plans.
• Establish engineering standards, governance practices, DevOps principles, and quality controls for solution delivery.
• Guide teams in the adoption of modern development approaches, cloud-native architectures, and AI-enabled engineering practices.
• Lead estimation efforts, solution planning, proposal development, workshops, and executive presentations.
• Mentor consultants and engineers while fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and evolving AI capabilities to inform strategic decision-making.

Skills and attributes for success

• Strong experience designing and delivering solutions using modern technology stacks such as Node.js, Python, Java, JavaScript, React, Angular, and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience with enterprise cloud platforms, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation frameworks.
• Understanding of Generative AI, AI orchestration frameworks, agent-based systems, and enterprise AI solution patterns.
• Exposure to enterprise platforms including SAP BTP, Microsoft Azure, Power Platform, SharePoint, and related ecosystems.
• Ability to work across technical and business domains while maintaining a pragmatic delivery mindset.
• Excellent client management experience across multiple and varied demographical contexts.
• Strong solution architecture skills with understanding of security, scalability, reliability, integration, and governance principles.
• Proven experience managing diverse teams and balancing multiple strategic initiatives simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and executive audiences.
• Strong commercial awareness, problem-solving capability, and decision-making skills.
• Highly self-motivated, resourceful, and comfortable operating in fast-changing environments.

• Experience leading innovation programs, incubation initiatives, labs, or emerging technology portfolios.
• Exposure to Agentic AI architectures, multi-agent systems, knowledge graphs, and enterprise AI platforms.
• Experience with Azure AI Foundry, OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex AI, or similar services.
• Familiarity with low-code/no-code platforms and business productivity ecosystems.
• Cloud, architecture, AI, or platform certifications.
• Experience building and scaling engineering capability within consulting, professional services, or large enterprise environments.
