We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically proficient ServiceNow Platform Support Consultant with a strong focus on Software Asset Management (SAM) integrations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing SAM tool integrations within the ServiceNow platform, ensuring accurate data flow, license compliance, and operational efficiency.Key Responsibilities :- Lead design, configuration, and deployment of ServiceNow modules, aligning with best practices and leveraging out-of-the-box capabilities.- Provide technical direction, contribute to solution architecture, and maintain documentation including specifications, diagrams, and manuals.- Troubleshoot production/test issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.- Act as SME for application suites, contributing to project sizing, scoping, and functional expertise.- Define and manage data mapping, transformation, and validation rules; monitor data quality and perform health checks.- Implement software/license usage monitoring, manage discovery models/maps, and improve normalization.- Handle access provisioning for SAM modules and resolve related incidents.- Architect and implement end-to-end SAMPro solutions to help clients gain visibility into their software inventory and license entitlements.- Configure ServiceNow SAM modules, including publisher packs, discovery patterns, and normalization processes, to ensure accurate data reporting for stakeholders.- Develop custom scripts, business rules, and workflows to automate asset lifecycle management and resolve complex integration challenges.- Lead technical workshops with clients to gather requirements and provide expert guidance on ServiceNow best practices for ITAM.
