job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified Assistant Professor in Biochemistry to join the department and contribute to teaching, laboratory training, research, and curriculum development in accordance with NMC guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach undergraduate (MBBS, BDS, Nursing, Allied Health) and postgraduate students in Biochemistry.
  

• Conduct lectures, practical sessions, and tutorials effectively.
  

• Guide student projects and mentor junior staff.
  

• Contribute to curriculum planning, question paper setting, and internal assessments.
  

• Oversee biochemistry lab functions, equipment, and quality control.
  

• Participate in research activities, publications, and departmental audits.
  

• Engage in institutional academic and administrative activities as assigned.
  

Qualifications:

• MBBS + MD (Biochemistry) from a recognized medical institution.
  

• Must fulfill NMC eligibility criteria for the post of Assistant Professor.
  

• Minimum 3 years of teaching experience as Senior Resident (Post-MD).
  

• Registration with NMC or State Medical Council is mandatory.
  

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of clinical and medical biochemistry
  

• Excellent teaching, communication, and presentation skills
  

• Research orientation with publication record preferred
  

• Skilled in laboratory management and equipment handling
  

• Ability to work collaboratively in academic environments
