About the job
As an AI video editor at InstaAstro, you'll turn creative briefs and source material into polished videos, using AI tools thoughtfully while keeping every edit clear, engaging, and consistent with the brief.
Key Responsibilities: 1. Edit short-form and other video content, shaping footage, visuals, pacing, and sound into cohesive final cuts.2. Use AI video generation tools to create or refine visual assets that support each project's concept.
3. Produce AI voiceovers, selecting suitable voices and adjusting delivery, timing, and pronunciation to fit the video.
4. Add captions, titles, transitions, and supporting graphics, checking that each element is legible and well timed.
5. Review generated assets and edited cuts for visual consistency, audio quality, factual accuracy against the brief, and technical issues.
6. Incorporate feedback from teammates, make focused revisions, and prepare approved videos in the required formats.
7. Organize project files and maintain clear versions of edits, voiceovers, and assets for efficient review and handoff.
