Work Timings: 9:30 am – 6:30 pm

Working Days: Monday – Friday (1st and 3rd Saturdays are working; 2nd, 4th & 5th Saturdays are off)

Location: Andheri, Mumbai (5 minutes from Railway Station)

About the Role

As a Senior Academic – Curriculum & Content Development at IIDE, you will play a key role in leading, structuring, and enhancing UG, PG, and Online academic programs. This role goes beyond execution and involves ownership of curriculum quality, academic alignment, and innovation . You will work closely with internal stakeholders and industry experts to ensure content is NEP-aligned, industry-relevant, pedagogically strong, and engaging for learners.

What You’ll Do

Curriculum Development & Ownership

• Lead and independently manage PG content development initiatives.
  

• Design, review, and enhance curriculum frameworks with a focus on interdisciplinary learning, flexibility, and learner outcomes.
  

• Ensure curriculum alignment with NEP guidelines and institutional academic standards.
  

• Create and oversee the development of learning materials such as textbooks, presentations, case studies, quizzes, assignments, and collaborative learning resources.
  

• Conduct in-depth academic and industry research to ensure content relevance and rigor.
  

Quality Assurance & Academic Innovation

• Review, refine, and maintain high quality standards across all academic content.
  

• Use advanced authoring and creative tools such as Canva, Articulate 360, Eleven Labs , and similar platforms for content, video, and audio creation.
  

• Integrate multimedia elements including graphics, animations, audio, video, and interactive components to enhance learner engagement.
  

• Design and implement structured feedback mechanisms to continuously improve learning materials and outcomes.
  

Industry & Stakeholder Collaboration

• Collaborate with industry experts, subject matter experts, and academic partners to keep curriculum aligned with current and emerging industry practices.
  

• Act as a key academic point of contact for content-related discussions and improvements.
  

• Guide junior team members or contributors on curriculum standards and best practices when required.
  

Assessments & Cross-Functional Coordination

• Design and review MCQs, assignments, case-based assessments, and evaluation frameworks.
  

• Ensure timely review and approval cycles with the reporting manager.
  

• Work closely with cross-functional teams (academics, delivery, design, and operations) to maintain consistency and quality across programs.
  

• Perform additional academic responsibilities aligned with the scope and seniority of the role.
  

Requirements

Who You Are

Must-Have

• 3–5 years of experience in curriculum development, academic content creation, or education-focused roles (preferably in business, entrepreneurship, digital education, or allied domains).
  

• Strong academic and industry research skills using diverse and credible sources.
  

• Excellent writing, editing, and content-structuring abilities.
  

• Proficiency with LMS platforms and content development/authoring tools.
  

• Solid understanding of instructional design principles and multimedia learning.
  

Should-Have

• Familiarity with business, entrepreneurship, or digital-first domains.
  

• Ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and stakeholders simultaneously.
  

• Strong attention to detail and a quality-first mindset.
  

• Experience reviewing or mentoring junior content contributors.
  

Nice-to-Have

• Experience working with universities, autonomous institutes, or accredited academic programs.
  

• Prior involvement in curriculum or content development for 3-year UG or PG degree programs .
  

• Exposure to NEP-aligned curriculum frameworks.
  

Educational Background

Graduate or postgraduate degree with a relevant specialization.

Location Preference

Candidates residing in Mumbai will be given preference.
