Senior Executive GST - CA - Gurgaon
Job Description
- Participate in engagements and compliances related to Indirect taxation-mainly Goods and Services Tax (GST) and Customs.
- Responsible for complete execution of the assigned engagements (a) Preparation and assistance with return filing and report generation.
- Being aware of firm's offerings, builds internal networks to develop understanding of service line offerings and bring potential opportunities to the attention of the team.
- Understand the basic technical issues during reviewing data and bring discrepancies /additional data requirements to the attention of the team.
- Working with the client's finance team to ensure tax payments and approvals are done on time.
- Ensuring timely filing and tracking of tax returns by maintaining a calendar for assigned clients.
- Assist with tax audits, tax research and other special projects as required.
Research & Technical Inputs:
- Ensure usage of all tools (External market data/internal portals) to generate effective compliance results.
- Well-versed in drafting legal documents, including Reply of notice, Appeal, Writ, etc.
- Good knowledge of Tax Laws.
- Well-versed in Research on legal issues & applying them to the specific problem of clients.
Competence Requirements:
- Qualified CA with a minimum of 4 years of post-qualification experience.
- Excellent English Communication (Reading & Writing Skills).
- Well-versed with MS Office and a few accounting software, preferably SAP and Tally.
