Test Automation Architect - Java/Selenium

Job Description :Immediate Joiners or less than 30 days notice period.We are looking for an experienced Test Automation Architect to lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of scalable automation testing frameworks. You will define automation strategies, mentor engineering teams, and drive the adoption of modern testing technologies across enterprise applications.Key Responsibilities :- Design and develop scalable automation frameworks for web, API, and mobile applications.- Define automation architecture, standards, and best practices.- Drive automation strategy across Agile and DevOps teams.- Optimize CI/CD pipelines and improve automation efficiency.- Research emerging automation tools and develop Proof of Concepts (POCs).- Explore AI-powered testing capabilities and intelligent automation solutions.- Mentor QA Engineers and SDETs through code reviews, workshops, and technical guidance.- Establish governance, coding standards, and quality gates for automation projects.- Collaborate with QA, Development, DevOps, and Product teams.- Support both automation and manual testing activities when required.Required Qualifications :- 15+ years of Software Testing experience.- 10+ years of hands-on Automation Testing experience.- Minimum 5 years as a Test Automation Architect or QA Architect.- Excellent communication and leadership skills.- Strong expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript.- Expert-level experience with Playwright.- Experience with WebDriverIO and RestAssured.- Experience building automation frameworks from scratch.- Knowledge of Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar CI/CD tools.- Experience with API testing, BDD/TDD, Cucumber, and Mocha.- Knowledge of AI-enabled testing approaches and automation best practices.Preferred Qualifications :- Experience with mobile automation frameworks.- Knowledge of containerization and microservices testing.- Experience with performance and load testing tools.- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.- QA/Test Automation certifications are an added advantage.
