Audit Senior

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Audit Senior to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing the end-to-end audit process for a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring the delivery of high-quality audit services and an exceptional client experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead audit assignments from planning through to completion, maintaining high-quality standards. Ensure audit files contain all necessary documentation, properly organised in the appropriate sections. Analyse accounting data from client records, providing insights and recommendations. Oversee and ensure compliance with regulatory, internal audit methodology, and risk management requirements. Build and nurture strong relationships with both new and established clients, acting as their trusted advisor. Identify and understand client needs, offering tailored solutions and executing them effectively. Address client queries promptly and professionally, promoting loyalty and trust. Mentor and support junior team members, answering questions and ensuring high-quality work. Collaborate with team members to deliver accurate and timely client files and audits. Deliver client work in adherence to legal and statutory requirements. Prepare and review client documents, including accounts, tax filings, PAYE, and VAT submissions, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Drive efficiency and quality by utilising best practices and leveraging available tools and technology.

Requirements:

Qualified practice accountant (ACA or ACCA) Broad and demonstrable audit experience within an accountancy practice environment. Proven experience managing a portfolio of audit clients, ranging from small to large entities. Strong technical knowledge of UK auditing and accounting standards, including FRS 102 and IFRS.
