About the job

Key Responsibilities:

1. Generate new business through field visits, cold calling, and lead generation activities
2. Identify potential clients and convert prospects into customers through effective sales techniques
3. Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting, pitching, negotiation, to closing deals
4. Conduct client meetings, product presentations, and demonstrations to showcase offerings
5. Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with clients to ensure repeat business
6. Follow up on leads regularly and maintain an active sales pipeline
7. Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets as assigned by management
8. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities in CRM tools
9. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery
10. Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to improve sales strategy

Other requirements

1. 1–3 years of proven experience in field sales, direct sales, or business development

2. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

3. Ability to conduct field visits, meet clients, and convert leads into customers

4. Experience handling the complete sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals

5. Strong client relationship management and follow-up skills

6. Ability to create and deliver effective sales presentations and product demonstrations

7. Basic understanding of technology, software solutions, and digital products

8. Awareness of modern sales and marketing practices and customer engagement strategies

9. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of meeting and exceeding sales targets

10. Familiarity with CRM tools and sales tracking software is a plus

11. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team

12. Flexibility to travel locally and adapt to varying client requirements

13. Prior experience in the software or technology industry will be an added advantage

14. A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
