Senior Software EngineerJob Summary : We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable, high-performance software applications. The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills, expertise in software engineering best practices, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and efficient technology solutions.Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality, scalable software applications.- Write clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable code following established coding standards.- Participate in requirement analysis, solution design, and technical discussions.- Develop and integrate APIs, backend services, and application components.- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex software defects and performance issues.- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to engineering best practices.- Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver business requirements.- Develop and maintain unit tests and integration tests to ensure software reliability.- Optimize application performance, scalability, security, and maintainability.- Contribute to architectural decisions and recommend appropriate technical solutions.- Support application deployment, monitoring, and production troubleshooting.- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement within the engineering team.Required Skills & Experience : - Strong experience in software development and application engineering.- Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, or Go.- Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, and design principles.- Experience developing and integrating REST APIs and backend services.- Knowledge of relational databases and SQL; familiarity with NoSQL databases is an advantage.- Experience with Git and version control practices.- Understanding of software testing, debugging, and code review processes.- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, deployment practices, and agile development methodologies.- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Preferred Candidate Profile : - Experience building scalable, distributed, and cloud-based applications.- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices architecture.- Experience with automated testing frameworks and application monitoring tools.- Ability to work independently, collaborate across teams, and take ownership of technical deliverables.
