We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer / Technical Lead – Data Products .

You'll make a difference by:

• Providing technical leadership for the definition, exploration, design, and implementation of Business Excellence (BX) data products.
• Leading the discovery, analysis, and technical assessment of new data-product requirements and business use cases.
• Translating business and functional requirements into scalable data models, technical designs, engineering stories, and implementation roadmaps in collaboration with Product Owners and Architects.
• Driving technical discussions and stakeholder engagements with data owners, domain experts, source-system teams, and data consumers.
• Identifying data-quality challenges, technical dependencies, feasibility concerns, and implementation risks at an early stage.
• Guiding engineering teams through architecture reviews, design reviews, implementation support, and resolution of complex data-related issues.
• Ensuring alignment with BX Data Platform architecture, governance frameworks, security standards, data-quality requirements, and operational best practices.
• Establishing reusable engineering patterns, standards, frameworks, and best practices across data products.
• Promoting knowledge sharing, mentoring, and technical capability development within the data engineering community.
• Supporting backlog refinement, sprint planning, delivery execution, KPI tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives for BX data products.
• Collaborating with cross-functional business and technology teams to ensure successful delivery of scalable and reliable data solutions.

You'll win us over by:

• Holding a Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science , Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related discipline.
• Having 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Platforms, Data Architecture, or related areas.
• Demonstrating strong expertise in designing and delivering enterprise-scale data products and data solutions.
• Possessing hands-on experience in data modeling, data integration, data transformation, and data pipeline design.
• Having a solid understanding of modern data platform architectures, data governance, and metadata management practices.
• Experience in gathering, analyzing, and translating business requirements into technical designs and implementation plans.
• Strong experience working with cloud-based data platforms and modern data engineering technologies.
• Excellent understanding of data quality management, data lineage, security, compliance, and operational standards.
• Proven experience leading technical discussions with multiple stakeholders across business and technology teams.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities with the ability to handle complex data challenges.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.

You'll stand out if you have:

• Experience working with enterprise Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, and Data Mesh architectures.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) .
• Expertise in Python, SQL, Spark, or other modern data engineering technologies .
• Knowledge of Data Governance, Master Data Management (MDM), and Metadata Management solutions.
• Experience working in Agile product delivery environments.
• Exposure to Analytics, AI/ML, and advanced reporting use cases.
• Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical communities of practice.
• Knowledge of KPI frameworks and product performance measurement.
• Ability to influence technical decisions and drive engineering best practices across teams.
