Senior Linux Administrator

Job Description :We are seeking an experienced Senior Linux Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize mission-critical Linux environments supporting enterprise applications and cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Linux system administration, automation, security, and troubleshooting, with hands-on experience managing large-scale production environments.Key Responsibilities : - Install, configure, manage, and maintain Linux servers across enterprise environments.- Monitor and optimize system performance, availability, reliability, and security.- Perform system administration tasks including patching, upgrades, configuration management, and troubleshooting.- Automate repetitive operational tasks using Bash scripting and/or Python.- Diagnose and resolve operating system, application, networking, and infrastructure-related issues.- Manage user access, permissions, system hardening, and security best practices.- Support virtualization platforms and cloud-based infrastructure environments.- Collaborate with application, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to ensure stable and efficient operations.- Develop and maintain automation workflows using tools such as Ansible.- Support containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.Required Skills & Qualifications : - 5+ years of hands-on experience administering Linux systems in enterprise environments.- Strong experience with Linux distributions including : 1. Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)2. Ubuntu3. CentOS- Proficiency in Shell scripting and automation using Bash and/or Python.- Hands-on experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible.- Experience supporting container technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.- Strong troubleshooting skills across Linux OS, applications, and infrastructure components.- Good understanding of Linux security, networking concepts, and system performance tuning.
