Senior Clinical Database Programmer
Worldwide Clinical Trials
Senior Clinical Database Programmer role at a global CRO involving database configuration, maintenance, and validation for clinical trials. Responsibilities include SAS programming, database testing, staff mentoring, and coordination with internal teams and external vendors.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and run SAS programs for data validation, reconciliation, and transfers
- Configure and test database and eDC software for initial setup and ongoing maintenance
- Mentor Clinical Database Programmers and Data Management staff on database configuration and SAS development
- Review specifications for data entry software and validation/reconciliation check plans
- Coordinate with internal staff, sponsors, and third-party vendors on database issues and implementations
Requirements
- Degree-level education or equivalent relevant experience
- Minimum 5 years experience with data management systems and software
- Understanding of CDISC SDTM standards
- SAS programming language proficiency
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Methodical problem-solving approach with attention to detail
- Computer literacy and adaptability to various systems
