Your future duties and responsibilities
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer with expertise in React Native Mobile app development to join our Product development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities
• Application Development
o Design, develop, and enhance features based on business requirements.
o Maintain high code quality, scalability, and performance standards.
• React Native & Dependency Upgrades
o Plan and execute upgrades of React Native versions and third-party libraries.
o Ensure backward compatibility and stability across Android versions (Android 9+).
o Manage native module upgrades and resolve breaking changes.
• Security & Compliance
o Identify and remediate vulnerabilities in dependencies and codebase.
o Ensure adherence to secure coding practices and organizational policies.
• Performance Optimization
o Optimize rendering, memory usage, and network efficiency.
o Improve app startup time, responsiveness, and handling of large datasets.
• Architecture & Data Handling
o Design efficient data flow and state management strategies.
o Ensure robust handling of offline/online scenarios and real-time updates.
• Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution
o Debug and resolve complex issues across JavaScript, native Android, and build systems.
o Ensure minimal regression during upgrades and releases.
• Collaboration
o Work with Product, Business, QA, and global IT teams.
o Participate in technical discussions and contribute to solution design.
• Stakeholder Management
o Communicate technical constraints and trade-offs.
o Resolve conflicts and align expectations across stakeholders.
• Continuous Improvement
o Improve CI/CD pipelines, release processes, and development workflows.
o Participate in retrospectives and drive engineering excellence.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Strong experience in React Native (5+ years preferred).
• Hands-on experience upgrading React Native applications across multiple versions.
• Proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript.
• Experience with Redux / Redux-Saga / state management libraries.
• Solid understanding of Android native development (Java/Kotlin).
• Experience with Gradle, build systems, and dependency management.
• Knowledge of performance optimization techniques in mobile apps.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, offline storage, and synchronization strategies.
• Experience in debugging and profiling tools (Flipper, Reactotron, Android Studio, etc.).
• Understanding of mobile app security best practices.

Good to Have
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to AWS services (S3, Cognito, API Gateway, etc.).
• Experience in large-scale or enterprise mobile applications.
• Familiarity with test automation frameworks.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Education Qualification: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or Exposure to any ERP platforms experience. Experience in working with cross-functional teams.
