Java Backend Developer - Microservices Architecture

Note : This is a hybrid opportunity 2 days office role.Role : Java Backend DeveloperExperience Required : 5+ yearsJob Description :We are looking for a highly skilled Java Backend Developer with strong experience in Core Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in building scalable RESTful services, cloud-native applications, and enterprise-grade backend systems.Key Responsibilities :- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java/J2EE technologies- Build and enhance Microservices-based applications using Spring and Spring Boot- Develop secure and high-performance REST APIs- Work with relational and NoSQL databases including Oracle, MySQL, and Cassandra- Implement CI/CD pipelines, code quality checks, and automated testing practices- Participate in code reviews, debugging, performance tuning, and refactoring activities- Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the SDLC lifecycle- Follow clean coding standards, design patterns, TDD/BDD, and best engineering practicesRequired Skills :- Strong expertise in Core Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs- Hands-on experience with Microservices architecture- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Design and Design Patterns- Experience with Oracle, MySQL, and/or Cassandra databases- Exposure to Cloud technologies and DevOps practices- Experience with SCM, CI/CD, build and deployment tools- Knowledge of code scanning, unit testing, and automation frameworks- Good understanding of TDD, BDD, and Agile methodologies- Strong problem-solving and communication skillsPreferred Skills :- Experience with modern cloud platforms- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools- Exposure to enterprise-scale distributed systems (ref:hirist.tech)
