Role : Senior Golang EngineerLocation : Noida / Ahmedabad (Hybrid 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)Employment Type : Full-TimeDuration : 12+ MonthsExperience Required : 8+ YearsEnglish Proficiency : Upper-IntermediateAbout the Role : We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Golang Engineer to design and build scalable backend systems. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in microservices architecture, distributed systems, and performance optimization, along with a passion for writing clean and efficient code.Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services using Golang- Build scalable, high-performance, and reliable systems- Develop and consume RESTful APIs and microservices- Participate in architecture discussions and technical decision-making- Conduct code reviews and ensure best coding practices- Troubleshoot production issues and optimize system performance- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, QA, and DevOpsRequired Skills : - Strong expertise in Golang- Experience with REST APIs and Microservices architecture- Strong knowledge of databases : PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and SQL- Hands-on experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines- Solid understanding of Distributed Systems and scalability- Experience with API Gateways (e.g., Kong or similar tools)Nice to Have : - Experience with Python- Familiarity with TypeScript- Exposure to frontend technologies like ReactWhat Were Looking For : - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment- Excellent communication and ownership mindset (ref:hirist.tech)
