Chief Technology Officer - Healthcare EcoSystem

Note: This is Purely an Equity Role (Meaningful equity, based on experience and commitment).About KwikMedi:KwikMedi is building a technology-first healthcare platform focused on making access to medicines and diagnostic services faster, simpler, more affordable, and more reliable.We are building beyond a traditional medicine-delivery platform our vision is to create a trusted digital healthcare ecosystem connecting patients, pharmacies, diagnostic labs, healthcare providers, and technology through one seamless experience.We are now looking for a Technical Co-Founder who wants to build this company from the ground up and take complete ownership of the technology function.The Opportunity:We are looking for a Co-Founder Technology / CTO who is not just looking for a job, but wants to build, own, and scale a company.You will work directly with the founding team and be responsible for translating the business vision into a robust, scalable technology platform.This is a 0-1 founder role you will have significant influence over product architecture, technology choices, engineering culture, hiring, and the company's long-term technology strategy.What You Will Own:- Define and execute KwikMedi's overall technology strategy and roadmap.- Architect and build scalable web, mobile, backend, and internal platforms.- Own the complete product engineering lifecycle from idea - development - deployment - iteration.- Build highly reliable systems for medicine ordering, prescription management, diagnostics, payments, delivery, inventory, and partner operations.- Design APIs, databases, backend services, integrations, and cloud infrastructure.- Establish strong practices around security, privacy, reliability, scalability, and performance.- Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, logistics systems, pharmacy/diagnostic partners, and healthcare technology platforms.- Use AI/automation wherever it can meaningfully improve customer experience and operational efficiency.- Build analytics and technology infrastructure to enable data-driven decision-making.- Recruit, mentor, and eventually lead the engineering and product technology team.- Establish engineering standards, development processes, CI/CD, testing, monitoring, and documentation.- Work closely with the business team to prioritize what should be built, rather than simply building what is requested.What We're Looking For:Must-have:- Strong software engineering and system-design fundamentals.- Experience building and shipping real-world products, preferably from 0-1.- Strong understanding of backend architecture, APIs, databases, cloud infrastructure, and scalable systems.- Ability to make pragmatic technology decisions in an early-stage startup environment.- Comfortable working hands-on you should be able to code, architect, debug, and ship.- Strong product mindset, not just a technology mindset.- Ability to work with ambiguity and move quickly with limited resources.- High ownership and accountability.- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.- Willingness to take founder-level responsibility for outcomes.Good to Have:Experience in one or more of:- Healthcare / HealthTech- E-commerce / Marketplace- Pharmacy / Diagnostics- Logistics / Delivery- FinTech / Payments- AI/ML and AI agents- Mobile applications- Cloud infrastructure and DevOps.- Building high-scale consumer platforms.The Founder Mindset We Want:We are looking for someone who:- Builds > delegates- Solves > complains- Ships > over-plans- Owns outcomes > owns a job titleYou should be comfortable wearing multiple hats in the early days from writing production code and designing architecture to talking to users, solving operational problems, and helping shape the business.Why Join as Co-Founder ? :This isn't a CTO job at an established company.You will be joining at a stage where your decisions can directly shape the product, technology, culture, and future of KwikMedi.You will have :- Founder-level ownership.- Meaningful equity participation.- Direct involvement in company strategy.- Opportunity to build the technology team from scratch.- Freedom to shape the architecture and engineering culture.- The opportunity to build a large-scale healthcare technology company from the ground up.What Success Looks Like :- In the first 12 to 18 months, you would help us build a highly scalable technology foundation.- Improve product experience and conversion.- Automate critical operational workflows.- Build reliable pharmacy and diagnostic integrations.- Create a strong data and analytics layer.- Introduce AI-driven capabilities across the platform.- Build and lead a high-performing engineering team.- Create technology infrastructure capable of supporting rapid business growth.
