In this role you will be responsible for project delivery, design management & project management, for positioning and winning projects involving a range of services. The role will be instrumental in collaborating with commercial, project management, engineering and design technical leaders to create opportunities for Jacobs to plan, develop, deliver and operate a range of projects.  

Job Summary 

SME – Structure is generally assigned to different  projects as a someone who is Responsible for providing Solution in  the Concrete / Steel / Foundation Queries. Having knowledge  of designs, proposals, business development in meeting  clients/vendor, execution of tasks assigned by Discipline  Head. He/She should suffice in a technique which requires a grasp  either of involved practices and precedents or of scientific theory and  principles or both .

Technical and  Development

1. 4 years Full time Bachelors Degree in Civil  Engineering.

2. Masters Degree in Structure is preferred.

3. Train the team on different technical subjects. 

4. Solution for the Queries regarding Concrete / Steel and  Foundation issues. 

5. Technical skills on RCC Buildings, Waffle Slabs, Cheese Slabs,  Steel structures, Long Span Truss, Pile Foundations etc. 

6. Involve in Client Discussions / Solutions for the In-Site Issues. 

7. Understanding of Soil and Foundations. Provide measures to take  care of site soil issues. 

8. Assist in the development and finalization of Unit Plans and  Building Layouts as in coordination with other disciplines.

1. Good communications skills.  

2. Develop working relationships across various disciplines. 

3. Multi office work experience 

4. Critical human relations skills, alternative or combined  skills in understanding, selecting, developing and motivating  people  

Client and Industry

• Meet or Exceed client’s expectations and build / maintain  long-term relationship with internal / external clients.

• Look for new Scope within the Project and deliver the same with  quality.

• Attend to client feedback.

• Review the project plan for acceptability.

1. A desire to achieve high quality outputs and deliver excellent  service.

2. Support to achieve “best for project” outcomes.

3. Identify and address issues that would impact on desired project  outcomes.

4. Right First Time in delivery with adoption of zero defect and  beyond zero approach.

Here's what you'll need

BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering with 25 years of experience in handling Structural Design activities. Experience in Industrial, Pharmaceutical CGMP & FMCG Projects & Semiconductor Projects.
