The Role: Maps Evaluator

As a Data Analyst/Maps Evaluator, your primary focus will be ensuring that digital maps accurately reflect the real world. You will be tasked with reviewing and verifying data to help navigation systems provide correct, safe, and helpful information.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Review: Evaluate mapping data to ensure its accuracy, safety, and relevance.

• Verification: Verify crucial location-based information, including business names, operational hours, and transit routes.

• Navigation Enhancement: Help improve the quality of search results and routing, making everyday navigation easier for people in your region.

What We Are Looking For

We are seeking independent, tech-savvy individuals who possess strong analytical skills and a deep familiarity with the Indian landscape.

• Language Proficiency: You must be fluent in both English and Kannada .
• Local Knowledge: You should have at least 5+ years of residency in India , ensuring you have the necessary local context to evaluate mapping data effectively.
• Analytical Skills: You have a natural ability to research, cross-reference, and think critically about the information presented to you.
• Digital Fluency: You are a frequent user of online maps, search engines, and social media platforms.
• Commitment: This role requires 10–20 hours per week . Because this is a flexible, project-based position, you can easily fit this work around your existing schedule—evenings and weekends are welcome!

Requirements for Success

To ensure you can perform your duties effectively, you will need:

• Equipment: A reliable laptop or PC with up-to-date antivirus protection.
• Independence: You must be able to work autonomously. Please note that this role is limited to one person per household .
• Assessment: Candidates are required to pass an online open-book exam to demonstrate their understanding of our guidelines.
