Java Developer - Spring Boot/Microservices Architecture

Job Description : We are looking for a Java Developer to join our client's engineering team and build reliable, scalable, and high-performance applications. You will work closely with product, engineering, and cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and maintain backend systems and APIs.Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain applications using Java and Java-based frameworks.- Build scalable backend services, REST APIs, and microservices.- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.- Troubleshoot application issues and improve performance and reliability.- Work with databases and integrate applications with internal and third-party systems.- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture decisions.- Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, QA, and DevOps teams.- Follow software development best practices, including version control, testing, and documentation.- Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes and development standards.Required Skills : - Strong programming skills in Java.- Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, or similar Java frameworks.- Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, Data Structures, and Algorithms.- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.- Familiarity with SQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.- Understanding of Git and version control.- Knowledge of software design principles and development best practices.- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.Good to Have : - Experience with Microservices Architecture.- Knowledge of Hibernate/JPA.- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.- Exposure to messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.- Experience with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.- Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Redis.
