Principal Biostatistician

Lead statistical strategy and oversight for Phase I–III oncology clinical trials at this global clinical research organization. The Principal Biostatistician will direct analyses, review regulatory documentation, mentor team members, and engage with clients across multiple sites in India. Requires a Master's or PhD in biostatistics with 10+ years of experience, strong SAS/R programming skills, and familiarity with regulatory processes.
Responsibilities
- Direct statistical strategy and execution for oncology programs and individual trials
- Review protocols, statistical analysis plans, and clinical reports for scientific rigor
- Advise clients on statistical matters and facilitate regulatory agency communications
- Execute and supervise statistical analyses using SAS or R
- Mentor junior statisticians and lead process improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Master's degree or PhD in biostatistics or related field
- 10+ years biostatistics experience
- Leadership experience with Phase I–III oncology studies
- Proficiency in SAS and/or R programming
- Knowledge of regulatory submission processes
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- CRO environment experience preferred
