We are currently seeking a Business and Data analyst to join our team in Remote, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

Role Summary We are currently seeking an experienced Business and Data analyst to join our team in Remote, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN) to support the development of an analytics-driven recovery and subrogation framework. The role involves analyzing commercial claims data, identifying recovery opportunities, quantifying financial impact, and recommending actionable recovery strategies. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders to build a repeatable, outcome-based recovery model. Key Responsibilities • Analyze historical and current commercial insurance claims data to identify trends, recovery opportunities, and financial impact. • Evaluate and prioritize subrogation and recovery opportunities based on recovery likelihood and business value. • Develop dashboards, reports, and analytical models to monitor recovery performance and key KPIs. • Collaborate with claims, recovery, and business teams to translate business requirements into analytical solutions. • Support the design of an analytics-driven recovery framework, including prioritization methodologies and business rules. • Present insights and recommendations to client stakeholders and leadership. Required Skills & Experience Domain Expertise • Commercial Lines Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance • Claims Operations (FNOL to Settlement) • Subrogation and Recovery Processes • Third-Party Liability and Claims Investigation Technical Skills • Advanced SQL (Must) • Python (Must) • Microsoft Excel (preferred) • Power BI (preferred) • Data Analysis and Dashboarding (preferred) Good to Have: SAS/R, Databricks, Snowflake, Azure/GCP Core Competencies • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to identify and quantify recovery opportunities • Data-driven decision making and business case development • Excellent stakeholder communication and presentation skills Experience • 6+ years in Commercial/Specialty Lines Insurance • Hands-on experience in Claims Analytics and Subrogation/Recovery • Experience working with insurance data and business stakeholders Key Deliverables • Recovery opportunity assessment and quantification • Prioritized recovery pipeline • Executive dashboards and performance reports • Actionable recovery recommendations • Analytics-driven recovery framework
