Senior QA Tester (API & Backend Testing)
Experience: 8–10 Years
Location: Bangalore (Hybrid)
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Tester with strong expertise in API and backend testing. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of system integrations, data validation, and automation frameworks, along with excellent debugging skills.
Key Responsibilities
API & Service Testing
- Strong hands-on experience with REST and GraphQL APIs
- Proficient in tools like Postman, Rest Assured, and Bruno
- Ability to validate:
- Request/response payloads
- Headers and authentication
- Error handling and edge cases (not just happy paths)
Database & Data Validation
- Strong SQL skills (joins, aggregations, complex queries)
- Ability to trace and validate data across multiple systems
- Experience validating backend processing and transformations
- Good understanding of data integrity concepts
Automation Skills
- Experience building and maintaining API automation frameworks
- Programming experience in Java or Python
- Familiarity with frameworks like TestNG or PyTest
- Hands-on experience integrating automation with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions)
