AWS Engineer - Java & React.js

Job Title : AWS Engineer (Java & React)Experience : 6+ YearsLocation : Noida / Gurgaon / Hyderabad (Hybrid)Job Summary : We are looking for an experienced AWS Engineer with 6+ years of IT experience and strong expertise in designing, developing, and managing cloud-native applications on AWS. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in AWS cloud services, backend development using Java (Spring Boot), and working knowledge of React for frontend development. The role requires building scalable, secure, and high-performing applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams.Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, deploy, and maintain cloud-native applications on AWS.- Architect and implement scalable, secure, and highly available AWS solutions.- Develop and maintain backend applications and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.- Contribute to React-based frontend development and integrate UI components with backend APIs.- Build and consume RESTful APIs and ensure seamless application integration.- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.- Monitor application and infrastructure performance using AWS monitoring tools.- Optimize AWS infrastructure for performance, scalability, reliability, and cost.- Implement AWS security best practices, IAM policies, networking, and encryption.- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.- Collaborate with architects, product owners, QA teams, and DevOps engineers throughout the software development lifecycle.- Participate in code reviews and maintain high coding and documentation standards.Required Skills : - 6+ years of overall IT experience.- Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud platform.- Expertise in AWS services including : 1. EC22. S33. Lambda4. API Gateway5. ECS/EKS6. RDS7. DynamoDB8. IAM9. VPC10. CloudWatch11. SNS/SQS12. Route 53- Strong development experience in Java and Spring Boot.- Working knowledge of React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.- Experience in developing RESTful APIs and microservices.- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS preferred).- Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation.- Strong knowledge of Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB, or MongoDB.- Strong understanding of Linux environments and shell scripting.Preferred Skills : - Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging platforms.- Exposure to serverless architectures and event-driven applications.- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.- Understanding of DevSecOps practices and cloud security standards.- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.- AWS certification (Solutions Architect Associate/Professional or Developer Associate) is an added advantage.Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.- AWS certifications are preferred.Key Competencies : - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.- Ability to work independently and mentor junior team members.- Strong focus on quality, performance, and continuous improvement.- Ownership mindset with the ability to deliver complex cloud solutions.
