Job Title: Python AI Tech Lead

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Engineering Tech Lead to drive the design, development, and delivery of cutting-edge digital solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Python, FastAPI, AWS , and PostgreSQL , combined with excellent stakeholder management skills. You will lead a team of engineers, ensure high-quality system design, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and secure solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership:
  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers in developing robust, scalable applications.
  • Define best practices for coding, architecture, and deployment
  • Lead the hands-on design and development of Python-based AI services, agent workflows, APIs, and orchestration components, ensuring alignment with the target architecture and engineering standards
  • Implement and manage multi-agent frameworks, including agent routing, tool integration, memory management, context handling, approval workflows, and human-in-the-loop capabilities
  • Develop and integrate RAG pipelines, LLM applications, vector stores, prompt engineering frameworks, evaluation mechanisms, and responsible AI controls within the forecasting platform
  • Build scalable integrations across Snowflake, AWS services, AI/ML platforms, and forecasting applications, ensuring secure, reliable, and high-performance data and workflow execution
  • Provide technical leadership to the engineering team through code reviews, design reviews, troubleshooting, performance optimization, CI/CD enablement, and mentoring developers to deliver production-grade AI solutions
• Solution Design & Development:
  • Architect and implement solutions using Python, FastAPI, AWS services, and PostgreSQL .
  • Ensure system design aligns with business requirements and scalability needs.
• Stakeholder Management:
  • Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• System Design:
  • Drive end-to-end system design, ensuring performance, security, and reliability.
  • Conduct design reviews and provide guidance on architectural decisions.
• Quality & Delivery:
  • Oversee code reviews, testing strategies, and deployment processes.
  • Ensure timely delivery of projects while maintaining high standards of quality.
• Domain Expertise:
  • Develop and maintain accurate short  and long range pharma forecasts using analytical methods, historical trends, and cross functional inputs.
  • Partner with global and regional teams (marketing, finance, market access, RCLs) to gather requirements and deliver insights, presentations, and concept notes.
  • Perform business analysis, sensitivity modeling, and data management while leveraging tools like SQL, Tableau, Alteryx, and basic Python for automation.
  • Provide strategic guidance on assumptions, risks, and opportunities, continuously optimizing pharmaceutical forecasting processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
• 7+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a technical leadership role
• Proven experience in designing and deploying applications on AWS
• Strong understanding of database design and optimization
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
