Job Title : Autosys EngineerJob Location : HyderabadExperiences : 5-8 YearsJob Type : Full-timeShift Timings : Rotational Shifts (5 days WFO)Job Description : The AutoSys Infrastructure Administrator is responsible for managing, maintaining, and modernizing AutoSys Workload Automation in a cloud-native environment using AWS and Kubernetes. This role focuses on building scalable, highly available scheduling infrastructure and integrating AutoSys with containerized and microservices-based platforms.Role and Responsibilities : AutoSys Administration : - Install, configure, and maintain AutoSys components (Event Server, Scheduler, Agents, WCC)- Manage job scheduling infrastructure across multiple environments (DEV, QA, PROD)- Perform upgrades, patching, and configuration tuning- Monitor jobs, logs, and system health; resolve failures proactively- Implement high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) strategiesAWS Cloud Management : - Deploy and manage AutoSys infrastructure on AWS (EC2, EKS, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch)- Design and implement scalable and secure cloud architectures- Configure networking (VPC, subnets, security groups, load balancers)- Monitor and optimize cloud resource utilization and cost- Implement backup and DR solutions using AWS servicesKubernetes & Containerization : - Deploy and manage AutoSys agents or related workloads in Kubernetes (EKS)- Containerize AutoSys-related services using Docker- Manage Kubernetes clusters, namespaces, deployments, and services- Implement auto-scaling, rolling deployments, and failover strategies- Integrate with CI/CD pipelines for automated deploymentsMandatory Skills : - Strong hands-on experience with AutoSys Workload Automation- Experience managing AutoSys infrastructure (Event Server, Agents, WCC)- Deep knowledge of AWS services (EC2, EKS, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS)- Strong experience with Kubernetes (EKS preferred)- Proficiency in Linux/Unix administration- Strong scripting skills (Shell, Bash, Python)- Knowledge of networking fundamentalsKey Deliverables : - Highly available, scalable AutoSys platform on cloud- Seamless integration with containerized workloads- Automated infrastructure provisioning and deployment- Secure and compliant infrastructure environment- Reduced downtime and improved job success ratesNice to Have Skills : - AWS Certified Solutions ArchitectEducation : - BE/ BTech / BSC / MCA / Any GraduationEducation : - UG : Any GraduateKey Skills : - AutoSys, AWS, Kubernetes (ref:hirist.tech)
