About the Company
Scrub. is a creator-tech platform being built by Synn Studio to help brands discover, collaborate with, and manage nano and micro creators. We are building practical tools for creator marketing and are currently expanding our product team. As a Flutter Developer Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on a real startup product and gain hands-on experience in mobile product development from development to delivery.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile features using Flutter and Dart.
- Translate product requirements and interface designs into responsive, reliable app experiences.
- Work with the product and engineering team to troubleshoot issues, improve performance, and refine existing functionality.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, documentation, and iterative product releases.
- Take ownership of assigned tasks, communicate progress clearly, and contribute ideas that improve the startup product.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of Flutter and Dart, along with an understanding of mobile application development concepts.
- Ability to learn quickly, solve problems independently, and work effectively in a remote environment.
- Familiarity with REST APIs, Git, state management, or backend integration will be useful.
- Applicants with 0–1 year of experience, including enthusiastic beginners with relevant project work, are welcome.
- A portfolio, GitHub repository, academic project, or personal Flutter app is an advantage.
This is a 2-month unpaid internship. There is no guaranteed stipend during the initial internship period. Candidates who demonstrate strong technical skills, consistent contribution, ownership, and good performance may be considered for a performance-based stipend and continued engagement with the team. The role is remote and requires consistent communication, accountability, and commitment throughout the internship.
What You'll Get
You will gain hands-on experience building a real startup product using Flutter and Dart, along with exposure to REST APIs, Git, mobile development workflows, testing, debugging, and product iteration. You will work closely with a lean product and engineering team and have the opportunity to contribute to features that are part of an actively developed product. You will receive an internship certificate upon successful completion, subject to company criteria. High-performing interns may also have the opportunity for continued collaboration with SCRUB and a performance-based stipend after the initial internship period.
