RAN Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated RAN Planning Engineer with 2–5 years of experience in telecom network planning and optimization.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for interfacing with internal and external stakeholders, both on-site and off-site, and contributing to end-to-end Radio Access Network (RAN) planning across multiple technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Engage with internal and external customers to support RAN planning and deployment activities.

Perform RAN technologies planning across 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G networks.

Execute network planning tasks, including: Greenfield network planning Coverage and capacity planning.

Propagation model analysis and calibration RAN cell design and parameter planning Coverage shaping and optimization Spectrum reframing activities

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Operate and manage planning tools, including model calibration and optimization.

Independently analyze network issues and implement effective solutions. Recommend and implement strategies to meet and maintain agreed KPI targets

Required Skills & Competencies

Technical Competencies Strong understanding of telecom technologies: GSM, UMTS, LTE, and 5G.

Hands-on experience with planning and optimization tools such as Atoll, Asset, and Planet

Solid knowledge of propagation models and network optimization techniques Professional.

Competencies Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, or a related field.

Excellent communication and presentation skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Experience working in a matrix organization structure with both functional and line reporting.
