Data Architect

Job Summary : We are seeking a seasoned Technical Architect with deep expertise in Data Engineering and Data Analytics to lead offshore delivery teams. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF), Databricks, and Power BI, and will be responsible for designing scalable data solutions, guiding technical teams, and ensuring successful project delivery.Key Responsibilities : - Lead the architecture and design of end-to-end data engineering and analytics solutions.- Collaborate with onshore stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.- Architect and implement data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and other Azure services.- Should have excellent experience in building the business consumption layer by understanding the reporting needs.- Design and optimize data models for reporting and analytics using Power BI.- Ensure best practices in data governance, security, and compliance.- Provide technical leadership to offshore development teams and mentor junior engineers.- Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.- Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements.Soft skills/other skills :Communication Skills : - Communicate effectively with internal and customer stakeholders- Communication approach : verbal, emails and instant messagesInterpersonal Skills : - Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain productive relationships with team members- Provide constructive feedback during code reviews and be open to receiving feedback on your own code.- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.- Ability to work independently and lead offshore teams.Problem-Solving and Analytical Thinking : - Capability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.- Analytical mindsetTask/ Work Updates :- Prior experience in working on Agile/Scrum projects with exposure to tools like Jira/Azure DevOps- Provides regular updates, proactive and due diligent to carry out responsibilitiesExpected Outcome :- Deliver scalable and secure data solutions using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Power BI.- Implement high-performance, reliable ETL/ELT data pipelines.- Build insightful Power BI dashboards and data models to support business decision-making.- Lead offshore teams to ensure timely and quality delivery of data engineering and analytics projects.- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to enhance team capabilities.- Collaborate effectively with onshore stakeholders to align technical solutions with business needs.- Establish robust monitoring, governance, and compliance practices for data operations.- Drive continuous improvement and innovation in data engineering and analytics processes.
