Note: • Fresher or 1+ year experience candidates with a Bachelor's degree in B.Com are applicable.

About the Role:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented NPD to join our team. The role will involve supporting the development and procurement of packaging materials, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring the right balance between cost, quality, timelines, and product requirements.
The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in procurement, packaging, vendor management, and cost optimization, along with good communication and negotiation skills.

Key Responsibilities:
1 . Packaging Procurement
• Coordinate the procurement of packaging materials such as bottles, tubes, cartons, labels, pouches, jars, caps, pumps, and other components.
• Source and evaluate new vendors based on price, quality, MOQ, capacity, and lead time.
• Collect and compare quotations from multiple suppliers.
• Track purchase orders, production status, dispatches, and deliveries.
• Ensure materials are procured as per approved specifications and timelines.
2. Vendor Management
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new vendors.
• Coordinate with vendors for quotations, samples, production updates, quality issues, and deliveries.
• Follow up regularly to ensure timely execution of orders.
• Identify alternate vendors to improve competitiveness and reduce dependency.
• Maintain an updated vendor database with pricing, MOQ, lead time, and other commercial details.
3. Cost Optimization
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction across packaging components.
• Benchmark vendor prices and negotiate for better commercial terms.
• Compare material specifications and alternate solutions to achieve cost efficiencies without compromising quality.
• Support the team in achieving procurement cost-saving targets.
• Track changes in packaging costs and maintain updated rate comparisons.
4. NPD / Packaging Development
• Coordinate with internal teams for new packaging requirements.
• Communicate packaging specifications and requirements to vendors.
• Coordinate sampling, modifications, approvals, and finalization of packaging components.
• Follow up on tooling, moulds, samples, trials, and commercial production wherever applicable.
• Ensure packaging development timelines are aligned with product launch requirements.
5. Coordination & Documentation
• Coordinate with Design, R&D, Quality, Operations, Finance, and other internal teams.
• Maintain proper records of quotations, samples, specifications, purchase orders, and vendor communications.
• Prepare cost comparison sheets and procurement reports.
• Track pending actions and ensure timely closure.

What We Are Looking For
• Fresher with a Bachelor's degree in B.Com
• Strong interest in procurement, sourcing, packaging, and vendor management.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Good command of MS Excel / Google Sheets.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple vendors and follow up on several activities simultaneously.
• Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership.
• Willingness to learn about packaging materials, manufacturing processes, and commercial negotiations.
