Role: Senior Embedded Security Engineer Experience Level: Staff (8 - 14 Years) Must have skills - SOC Security and Embedded C This role owns system-level security execution for Qualcomm’s Smart Audio & Wearable SoCs , spanning: HW security + low-level firmware + OS/kernel-level software Strong involvement from early product planning → silicon bring-up → production It’s a hands-on technical security role , not GRC / policy. Core Responsibilities (What the person will actually do) Design & implement embedded security software on SoCs Work close to hardware, firmware, RTOS, Linux , and proprietary OS layers Define SoC security architecture with Product Management & OEMs Drive security requirements across HW + SW teams Debug low-level, hard-to-reproduce security issues Own device security lifecycle : boot → provisioning → runtime → debug control
