Job Description: General Manager – Finance

Location: Santacruz East, Mumbai

Industry: Stainless Steel Fastener Manufacturing

Salary: ₹17–20 LPA (Depending on Experience & Last Drawn Salary)

Role Summary

A reputed stainless steel fastener manufacturing company is looking for an experienced and strategic General Manager – Finance to lead the complete finance and accounts function. The ideal candidate should have 15–20 years of experience in a manufacturing company and possess strong expertise in financial planning, accounting, taxation, compliance, budgeting, and business finance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the complete Finance & Accounts function.
  
• Oversee accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow management.
  
• Prepare and review MIS reports, financial statements, and management reports.
  
• Manage taxation, GST, statutory compliance, audits, and regulatory requirements.
  
• Monitor working capital, receivables, payables, and overall financial health.
  
• Develop and implement effective financial controls and processes.
  
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, consultants, and statutory authorities.
  
• Provide strategic financial insights to the management for business decision-making.
  
• Monitor manufacturing costs, inventory, profitability, and cost-control initiatives.
  
• Lead and mentor the finance and accounts team.
  
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and compliance across business operations.
  

Qualifications & Experience

• CA / CMA / MBA Finance or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
  
• 15–20 years of experience in Finance & Accounts, with substantial experience in a manufacturing company.
  
• Strong knowledge of accounting, taxation, GST, audits, financial planning, and compliance.
  
• Experience in manufacturing cost analysis and working capital management will be preferred.
