Key Responsibilities
- Support the sales strategies and customer interaction of the outside sales team.
- Develop and implement processes between sales and solutions engineering.
- Coordinate and participate in technical demonstrations, presentations and proposals for customers and prospects.
- Provide technical expertise and support to the sales team and customers throughout the sales cycle.
- Identify customer requirements and pain points, and propose solutions that address them.
- Responsible for the conceptual sales technology specification of proposals and support sales in contract negotiations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, 3+ years of experience as a solutions engineer or similar role in a technical sales environment.
- Understanding of types of automation solutions such as conveying, ASRS, goodstoperson, sortation, palletizing, depalletizing, piece picking, automated vehicles, and industrial/collaborative robots.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Based in Bengaluru, India , willingness to travel up to 50%.
