Cloud Data Migration Engineer

Key Responsibilities at this Role : - Lead end-to-end data mapping and migration across client implementation projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery.- Serve as a technical SME for data imports into Salesforce, Propel, and integrated systems.- Analyze source systems, define data mapping and transformation rules, and execute migrations.- Develop migration scripts, perform data cleansing, and ensure data accuracy and integrity.- Collaborate with customers and internal teams throughout the migration process.- Maintain project documentation, status updates, and migration records.- Contribute to team enablement, process improvements, product feedback, and onboarding initiatives.Must-Haves for this Role : - 5+ years of experience in end-to-end data migration, including data mapping, extraction, transformation, validation, and cloud migrations.- Strong expertise in SQL, databases (SQL Server/Oracle), ETL tools, CSV/Excel, and data quality management.- Hands-on experience with Python, Java, and familiarity with AWS services (Lambda, EC2, S3).- Good understanding of data modeling, application design, and data security during cloud migrations.- Experience with Salesforce (Apex, SOQL, Data Loader, Bulk APIs) is an advantage.- Strong project management, stakeholder communication, and documentation skills.- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve data quality issues.
