Data & Analytics Practice Leader

Position Overview - We're looking for a Delivery Leader to lead our

healthcare data services for payer and provider organizations. You must have proven experience

building data practices from the ground up with a strong healthcare technology background.

Key Responsibilities

Data Practice Building

Build and scale data practice including service offerings, delivery frameworks, and revenue growth

Meet annual revenue contribution targets through new client acquisition and existing client expansion

Establish data governance policies and compliance frameworks for healthcare environments

Create standardized methodologies and tools that differentiate our services

Drive business development and manage P&L for practice

Data Strategy & Analytics

Define data strategy aligned with healthcare client business goals

Lead implementation of analytics solutions using tools like Power BI, Tableau, and cloud platforms

Develop predictive analytics and AI solutions for healthcare outcomes and operational efficiency

Ensure data quality, security, and regulatory compliance (HIPAA, HITECH)

Team Leadership

Build and mentor teams of data scientists, engineers, and analysts

Collaborate with client executives and cross-functional stakeholders

Foster innovation and technical excellence across all data initiatives

Manage technical infrastructure and reduce technical debt

Required Qualifications

Practice Building Experience

10+ years in data leadership roles with proven track record building data practices

Healthcare payer and provider technology services background required

Experience growing practices to significant revenue with enterprise clients

Track record of meeting or exceeding annual revenue contribution targets

P&L responsibility and business development experience

Technical Skills

Expertise in database design, data modeling, and warehousing

Strong SQL, Python/R programming skills

Proficiency with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Experience with healthcare data standards (HL7 FHIR, X12, ICD)

Knowledge of big data technologies and ML/AI frameworks

Healthcare Domain Knowledge

Deep understanding of payer and provider operations and workflows

Experience with healthcare analytics use cases (risk adjustment, quality reporting, population health)

Knowledge of healthcare compliance and regulatory requirements

Understanding of value-based care models and interoperability challenges

Leadership & Business Skills

Proven team leadership and mentoring abilities

Strong communication skills with ability to present to C-level executives

Strategic thinking with ability to align data initiatives to business outcomes

Experience translating complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
