About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Process Analyst to join our Celonis Team. This hybrid role spans Celonis front-end and back-end development — combining data engineering, process intelligence and automation delivery to drive measurable business value across enterprise functions. The role covers both the Data Analyst scope (Studio, Views, Knowledge Models, Action Flows) and the Data Engineer scope (Data Integration, pipeline design, data modelling), making it a senior, full-stack Celonis position.

Role Responsibilities:

Celonis Technical Expertise —

• Own end-to-end Celonis Studio development including PQL, Knowledge Models, Views, Action Flows, and Orchestration Engine workflows for both Case Centric and Object Centric processes.
• Build and customize Celonis apps, automations, and analytical dashboards to deliver actionable, data-driven insights — including process analysis leveraging Variant Explorer and OLAP components.
• Build AI-powered Celonis solutions using Process Copilot, Insight Explorer, and AI Annotation Builder to surface predictive insights and enable intelligent process automation.
• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable data pipelines — using Data Jobs, Replication Cockpit, and Process Connector to connect Celonis to SAP, Salesforce, Marketo, SuccessFactors, and ServiceNow.
• Design event logs with correctly structured Activity and Case tables as the foundation of process mining data models; apply best practices in ETL/ELT to ensure data accuracy and transformation efficiency.
• Leverage Celonis Extractor Builder and Data Push API for custom source system integrations where Process Connectors are unavailable.
• Develop and enforce data quality and governance processes to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and integrity across all models. Apply Data Explorer for pipeline validation and troubleshooting.

• Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for Celonis applications and data pipelines, ensuring high system availability.
• Optimize large-scale data processing systems for performance, scalability, and long-term reliability.

Process Mining & Continuous Improvement

• Act as Subject Matter Expert for process mining — applying deep domain knowledge to identify use cases, frame business value, and prioritize improvement opportunities.
• Lead the identification, scoping, and implementation of process improvement initiatives from discovery through to deployment. 
• Define and track KPIs and success metrics to measure the impact of process improvement initiatives.
• Produce clear documentation of solutions, data models, and workflows to enable knowledge transfer and long-term maintainability.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Alignment

• Partner with process owners, business stakeholders, and data scientists to translate business requirements into scalable Celonis solutions and automated workflows.
• Work with integration and platform teams to connect automation solutions with existing enterprise systems, ensuring smooth data flow and interoperability.
• Communicate findings, recommendations, and solution designs clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences including senior leadership.
• Support change management efforts by driving adoption of new automated workflows and process changes across impacted teams.

Experience, Skills & Qualifications:

Essential

• 5+ years in a process analytics / data engineering role
• Celonis Studio: PQL, Knowledge Models, Views, Action Flows, Orchestration Engine
• Celonis Data Integration: Data Jobs, Replication Cockpit, Process Connectors, OCPM
• Python scripting for data manipulation and pipeline automation
• Strong SQL / ETL-ELT data modelling skills
• Experience with SAP, Salesforce & other ERP systems data
• Proven end-to-end process mining project delivery
• Celonis Certified Data Analyst  and/or Celonis Certified Data Engineer
• Familiarity with Agile / sprint delivery

Desirable                        

• Experience with Object-Centric Process Mining (OCPM)
• Prior CI / Lean Six Sigma exposure
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• Familiarity with Celonis AI features: Process Copilot, Insight Explorer, AI Annotation Builder
• Experience with Process Designer / Process Navigator
