Area Sales Manager (Plywood Industry)

Job Description:

EXPERIENCE IN PLYWOOD INDUSTRY IS MUST FOR THIS ROLE

Saburi Ply is looking for a dynamic and result-oriented   Area Sales Manager   to drive sales growth across   Upper Assam (Dibrugarh/ Jorhat/ Sibsagar/ Tinsukia) . The ideal candidate should possess strong market knowledge, dealer network, distributor management experience, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets in the   plywood or building materials industry .

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for the assigned territory.
  
• Develop and expand the dealer, distributor, and retailer network.
  
• Appoint new dealers and distributors to strengthen market presence.
  
• Maintain strong relationships with existing channel partners and key customers.
  
• Generate demand through architects, interior designers, contractors, builders, and project influencers.
  
• Conduct regular market visits to identify business opportunities and monitor competitor activities.
  
• Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain healthy outstanding levels.
  
• Plan and execute promotional activities, dealer meets, carpenter meets, and product awareness programs.
  
• Coordinate with the marketing and head office teams to execute sales initiatives.
  
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports and provide market feedback.
  

Eligibility Criteria

• Total Experience:  5–8 Years.
  
• Mandatory:   Minimum  2 years' experience as an Area Sales Manager
  
• Strong dealer and distributor network in   Upper Assam   will be an added advantage.
  
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
  
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
  
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
