We are currently seeking a Python Consultant to join our team in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh (IN-AP), India (IN).

Python Developer

Location: Hyderabad
Experience: 7-10 Years
Employment Type: Full-Time

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Python Developer with 7-10 years of experience in designing, developing, and supporting scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Python development, API design and integration, cloud technologies, database management, automation, and CI/CD practices. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to build reliable, secure, and high-performing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Python Development

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable applications and services using Python.
• Build reusable, efficient, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
• Develop backend services, data processing pipelines, and automation solutions.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and security guidelines.

API Development & Integration

• Design and develop RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Integrate applications with internal and external systems through APIs.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and API security best practices.
• Troubleshoot and optimize API performance and reliability.

Cloud Engineering

• Develop and deploy cloud-native applications on Azure, AWS, or GCP .
• Leverage cloud services for compute, storage, monitoring, security, and automation.
• Participate in cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to cloud governance, security, and cost optimization practices.

Database Management

• Design and optimize solutions using SQL and NoSQL databases .
• Develop complex queries, stored procedures, and data models.
• Ensure database performance, scalability, and data integrity.
• Support data integration and reporting requirements.

CI/CD & Automation

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application deployments.
• Automate development, testing, deployment, and operational processes.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevOps best practices where applicable.
• Improve operational efficiency through scripting and workflow automation.

Production Support & Reliability

• Monitor application health and performance.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Work with DevOps and infrastructure teams to ensure application availability and stability.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability and maintainability.

Required Skills

• 7-10 years of software development experience with strong expertise in Python .
• Hands-on experience in developing REST APIs and microservices.
• Strong knowledge of at least one cloud platform: Azure, AWS, or GCP .
• Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB, Cosmos DB).
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or similar.
• Proficiency in automation and scripting.
• Strong understanding of software design patterns, system integration, and application architecture.
• Experience with Git-based version control and Agile development methodologies.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Exposure to event-driven architectures and messaging platforms such as Kafka.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, or ELK.
• Knowledge of security best practices and cloud-native application development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant cloud and Python certifications are preferred.
