About Global Delivery Services

Global Delivery Services refers to EY's worldwide network of service delivery centers. The GDS team plays an important role in EY’s strategy by ensuring effective support to EY’s growth agenda.

Our journey started in 2002 with approximately 200 people. Today we stand at 80,000+ professionals in ten locations around the world. We operate in Argentina, China, Hungary, India, Philippines, Poland, Sri Lanka, Mexico, Spain and the United Kingdom.

Client service is focused on providing Consulting, Assurance, Tax, Strategy & Transactions, and Knowledge support to our clients around the world. The teams enable account teams worldwide to provide seamless, high-quality, value-added support, helping deliver exceptional client service.

Enablement Services provides cost-effective, high-skilled, and innovative services to support EY’s global and local enablement teams. Markets, BMC, AWS, Finance and Accounting, Risk Management, Procurement, People Shared Services, IT Service Delivery and IT Global Infrastructure services, are among the services offered by Enablement Services.

Our innovation specialists serve the GDS Client Service and Enablement Services teams, along with Service Lines, Core Business Services and Sectors. The team brings the desired environment, technologies and skilled teams together for facilitation, rapid prototyping and innovative thinking. The competencies offered include analytics, digital, user experience, mobile technology, infrastructure, Microsoft technologies and open innovation.

The Opportunity

As an SAP Fiori Developer, you will have the chance to shape the user experience of our SAP applications by designing and implementing intuitive, user-friendly interfaces that enhance productivity and engagement. This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of technology and user experience, transforming complex business processes into seamless digital experiences.

You will be responsible for developing and customizing Fiori applications, leveraging your expertise in SAPUI5, HTML5, and JavaScript to create responsive designs that meet the needs of our users. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts and UX designers, you will gather requirements and translate them into functional applications that drive efficiency and user satisfaction.

In this position, you will also have the opportunity to stay at the forefront of SAP technologies, exploring new features and enhancements within the Fiori ecosystem. Your contributions will be vital in optimizing existing applications and ensuring that our solutions align with best practices and business objectives.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Assists project teams in estimating the architecture design effort and develop/ review/ approve architecture designs.
• Be subject matter expert to program/project teams in the plan, design, and delivery of technical solutions.
• Involve in solution design and development of Tax tools and technology solutions.
• Lead the solution design and development of Tax tools and technology solutions.
• Responsible for decision-making, optimizing processes, resource management, and overseeing team management as needed for task execution.
• Accountable for allocating personnel, supervising team members, assigning tasks, ensuring that the team has the necessary tools and support to succeed in their roles and optimizing and evaluating their performance to meet organizational goals.

What we look for

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Software Engineering / Information Technology / MBA / MCA.
• An overall 4-10 years’ experience Sap Fiori Project Implementation.
• Scrum and Project management.
• Experience and understanding of technology tools.
  • SAP S/4 Hana implementation.
  • Methodology.
  • Migration.
  • Strong knowledge of technology trends across IT and how digital transformation can be applied to address problems and opportunities.
  • Team handling skills, analytical skills, presentation skills, ability to work under pressure.
  • Should be capable of supporting architecture and design and guide team as required to prepare and present weekly reports to all stakeholders.
  • Identify and manage Risks and Issues keep leadership informed.
  • Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills Professional Attributes.
  • Knowledge/Experience on BTP technologies such as SAP Build, CAP, Gen AI will be an added advantage.
  • Good knowledge on integrations with other technology will be an added advantage.
• SAP Fiori/UI5 & ABAP experience required:
  • Experience in working as a full stack Fiori developer.
  • Technologies preferred: SAP ABAP, OOABAP, Ui5, JavaScript.
  • Design and develop Fiori applications.
  • Prepare technical specification documents.
  • Convert functional requirement to technical design.
  • Develop SAPUI5 application on VS Code, WebIDE or SAP BAS.
  • Should have knowledge of developing OData service using SAP Gateway.
  • Knowledge/Experience on SAP RAP would be an added advantage.
  • Consume On-Premise OData services in Cloud using destinations and OData Provisioning.
  • Enhance SAP Fiori applications.
  • Perform technical reviews and SAPUI5 code reviews.
  • SAP Fiori App Prototyping.
  • Should have sound knowledge of GIT.
  • Should have knowledge on FLP Configurations and Customizations.
  • Should have sound knowledge on Unit and Integration testing.
  • Having knowledge of SAP Fiori element framework and extensions will be added advantage.
