Senior Data Engineer - RAG Solutions

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Data Engineer (10 to 15 years) to design and scale AI-ready, compliant data platforms with a strong focus on Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures. This role is critical in enabling secure, governed, and explainable AI solutions in a regulated financial services environment, ensuring compliance with data privacy, model governance, and audit requirements.The ideal candidate combines deep data engineering expertise, GenAI experience, and strong understanding of regulatory and risk frameworks.Responsibilities :- Design, develop, and optimize scalable data platforms, ETL/ELT pipelines, and enterprise RAG solutions.- Build and maintain LLM-based applications, vector search capabilities, and retrieval-optimized data workflows.- Ensure data governance, security, compliance, and access control across enterprise data platforms.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-powered solutions and drive technical best practices.Mandatory Skills :- Strong experience in Python, SQL, data engineering, data modeling, ETL/ELT, and distributed data systems.- Hands-on experience with AWS services, data orchestration tools, and enterprise RAG/LLM solutions.- Expertise in vector databases, semantic search, embeddings, and frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex.- Strong knowledge of data governance, GDPR, access control, encryption, data masking, and compliance frameworks.Good to Have :- Experience with Graph RAG, graph databases, agent orchestration frameworks, and LLM evaluation.- Familiarity with AI guardrails, responsible AI, API-first architecture, microservices, and customer-facing AI solutions.
