The Role

Kyndryl is on the lookout for a Application Testing Specialist with Functional knowledge on Payments system of bank who is passionate about delivering top-notch cloud-based managed services to our clients. As an application testing specialist at Kyndryl, you will be at the forefront of ensuring that our software products meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance. 

The Payments Senior Tester Role is responsible for designing and maintaining test cases specifically for Payment Domain.

The role supports end-to-end testing across Change-the-Bank (CTB) and Run-the-Bank (RTB) initiatives to enable faster and defect-free releases for Payment domain.

The tester collaborates with developers, business analysts, DevOps teams, and stakeholders to deliver scalable and maintainable QA strategy and Agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, and maintain automation testing frameworks and test cases
• Need to have strong functional knowledge on SWIFT and SEPA Payment systems.
• Translate functional and business requirements into test scenarios and test cases.
• Have experience in Swagger UI and Bruno for API testing
• Familiar with Jira and confluence
• Good to have HP ALM knowledge to log the test cases
• Ensure adherence to banking-grade QA practices including data integrity, security, and compliance.

Required Technical and Professional Experience

• Strong hands-on experience in Manual Testing

• Expertise in API Testing using Swagger UI and Bruno

• Functional knowledge of SWIFT , ISO 20022 , and SEPA

• Experience in SQL queries and database validation

• 7+ Years of Application testing experience

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science / IT / Engineering

• Certifications in Automation Testing / Selenium / Agile – Preferred.

• Experience in enterprise QA environments with end-to-end testing exposure.

• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies

• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills

• Excellent verbal and written English communication

• Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills

• Hands on experience in Banking Domain (Core Banking, Digital Banking, Payments, Lending).

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• Understanding of test management tools (JIRA, Xray, ALM)
