Principal Architect / Platform Architect

Required Skills & Experience 15+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or platform architecture . Strong expertise in modern data architectures (Lakehouse, Data Mesh, Medallion Architecture) . Experience designing enterprise data platforms on cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP . Deep experience with data warehousing technologies such as Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or Azure Synapse . Expertise in data processing frameworks like Spark, Databricks, or Flink . Strong experience in data pipeline development and orchestration tools (Airflow, DBT, Matillion, etc.). Knowledge of data governance and catalog tools such as Collibra, Alation, or Informatica . Experience with API-driven data services and event-driven architectures . Strong understanding of data modeling techniques (Dimensional, Data Vault, and Normalized models) . Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) for data platforms. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders and leadership teams . Preferred Qualifications Experience with AI/ML data platforms and feature stores . Exposure to streaming technologies such as Kafka, Kinesis, or Pub/Sub . Experience implementing data governance frameworks and regulatory compliance . Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Data Engineer, or GCP Professional Data Engineer . Experience in large-scale data modernization and enterprise data strategy initiatives .
